In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxAshesi University, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxAshesi University event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

Some of the world's most transformative ideas weren't rehearsed. They were discovered, stumbled upon, whispered in moments of uncertainty. OffScript is a celebration of those moments: the pivots, the detours, and the breakthroughs that no one saw coming.

Nana Yaw Ofori-Atta is a Senior Brand Strategist at Brainstorm Africa and an independent recording artist known as Oneman1000. He has built a career at the intersection of creative strategy and music, developing brand identities while releasing original music to a growing audience across platforms. He holds experience in sales and marketing from his time at Stanbic Bank Ghana, and has spent years at the crossroads of commerce and creative work.

Nana Kwadwo Osei Nyarko
Nana Kwadwo Osei Nyarko is a graphic designer, creative director, and the founder of 1NRI, a fashion and creative brand he built while studying MIS at Ashesi University. He has served as Chairperson of the Ashesi University Entrepreneurship Committee and has been developing the intersection of fashion and Ghanaian culture through his brand since 2022. He is a member of the Ashesi Class of 2026.

Dzifianu Afi Edoh-Torgah
Dzifianu studied Biomedical Science, then built a women's rights organisation. She leads The African Female Initiative, coordinating over 20 volunteers across a mission to expand access, opportunity, and visibility for African women. She is also a freelance content creator, and before this she served in digital communications at TEDxUniversityofCapeCoast. Her path from science to advocacy to stage is a masterclass in following what actually matters to you.

She has worked in digital communications at the Ghana Center for Democratic Development and the Media Foundation for West Africa, and now brings that same intentionality to IC Group. She knows what it takes to build something real in the attention economy, and she has been doing it quietly for years.

He holds an MBA in Marketing from Central University College and a BA from KNUST, and is an accredited member of the Ghana Real Estate Developers Association. He has founded six businesses across his career.

Christopher Yaw Annor Adu-Gyimah
Christopher Yaw Annor Adu-Gyimah is the founder and CEO of Manna by Nabiy, a premium gourmet cookie and baked goods brand he built from a campus operation into a growing commercial venture. He is a History graduate of the University of Ghana and a current student at Ashesi University, Class of 2030. Known online as Nabiy the Cookie Billionaire, he has built a following of tens of thousands across TikTok and Instagram, with several videos crossing one million views. Alongside Manna by Nabiy, he has researched and developed green energy applications, including the conversion of biomass and coconut husks into eco-friendly briquettes.
